PaciCure's™ patented stabilizing design harnesses the gentle pressure of an infant's sucking reflex, and redirects it up towards the bottom of the chin. This can reduce the frequency of pacifiers sliding & popping out of an infant's mouth, as well as the need for parents to get up to place a pacifier back in an infant's mouth. PaciCure's™ can be helpful in soothing preemies with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, to temporarily calming infants at nights or while driving.

The First Major Update to Infant Pacifier Design in 110 Years

DESIGNED BY A FAMILY PHYSICIAN FOR HIS OWN UNRULY INFANTS

Safety First

PaciCure™ is made of BPA-free silicone in the United States, patented by USPTO, and closely regulated by U.S. 16 C.F.R. Part 1511. Its larger surface area than ordinary pacifiers combined with a perforated chin-pad is also reassuring for parents concerned with choking hazards.

Simple & Gentle

PaciCure's™ design generates natural stability using simple infant anatomy and natural reflexes, reducing the frequency of a pacifier sliding & popping out, which can help take the edge off when soothing infants.

Teaches to Soothe

PaciCure's™ stability takes advantage of the first 6 months of life by allowing infants to feel what it's like to keep a pacifier in the mouth, which may teach them to self-soothe quicker.

3 PACICURE™ MODELS

PaciCure™: The original one-piece, all-in-one naturally stable pacifier.

PaciCure Flip™: With the option to remove the stabilizing chin-pad.

PaciCure Convert™: Enhancing ordinary pacifiers infant may already be used to with custom designed stabilizing PaciCure™ chin-pad conversion add-ons, licensed to pacifier manufacturers.

Fact: Pacifiers have proven benefits. PaciCure™ can help improve these benefits.

  • According to the American Academy of Family Physicians, pacifiers may be associated with reduced pain during common procedures, shorter hospital stays, better bottle feeding in premature babies, and lower the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) if used by baby during sleep (1).
  • In 5 studies pertaining to Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, pacifiers were a recommended supportive intervention to minimize the physiologic effects of withdrawal caused by central nervous system dysfunction in neonates and infants (2).
  • When popped out, pacifiers are useless and infants cry, causing parental sleep disruptions, decreased sleep quality & quantity, persistent severe fatigue, irritability, decreased functional status, anxiety, stress, insomnia & even postpartum depression (3).  No wonder why nearly 64% of new mothers are affected by fatigue during the postpartum period, making it the most common problem that a woman faces as she adapts to motherhood (4).

PaciCure™ can help! Think of a nurse or a parent having to manually hold a pacifier in an infant's mouth to promote rest and soothing. PaciCure™ provides that same gentle stability automatically, freeing up the nursing staff and parents when they most need it.
